Dalia Munenzon has a decade of professional experience in architecture and urbanism, focusing on adaptive strategies and resiliency methods. She leverages experience in urban systems design, environmental planning, and architecture to work with local communities across scales towards resilient cities and urban environments.
Munenzon serves as the Boston associate for One Architecture & Urbanism, leading the firm’s projects in the greater Boston area. Her work on resilience is focused on waterfront design and long-term strategic planning. She has led such high-profile, award-winning projects as the Climate Ready Boston Downtown, East Boston and Charlestown; Moakley Park Vision Plan; Peddocks Island Masterplan; Fourth Regional Plan, Triboro, Lower Manhattan Coastal Resiliency Project; and the East Side Coastal Resiliency Project.
Dalia received a Master’s in Architectural studies from MIT and a Bachelor’s in Architecture and Town Planning from the Technion Israeli Institute of Technology. Her undergraduate thesis, which looked at the future coastal cities, was awarded the Raiskin Award in 2012. Dalia has been a guest critic at Harvard GSD, MIT, Northeastern, Boston Architectural College, University of Pennsylvania, RISD, and The Cooper Union. She hopes to carry forward her knowledge and experience to promoting healthy, inclusive and resilient cities in the 21st century.

Ager Group - Urban Planning & Landscape Architecture | Summer Intern _Taizhou waterfront project - analyzed the puposed urban and park plan according to planned land uses and estimated population growth.
_Working Neighborhoods Project - Lead by Alexander D’Hooghe :
Conducted spatial research, visualization and the writing of technological case studies. Coordinated and conducted interviews with companies related to analysis.
_Kiryat Gat - Project Architect:
Developed an urban plan and conducted a feasibility research for a new development of 10,000 residential Units on west side if the city.

Coordinated and designed different stages of work and approvals commissioned by the Israeli Land Authority.

Researched for and prepared a TOD document for Future urban design & development around planned light rail stations in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area.

In the work on an urban design and development plan for a new urban center and university campus in a Palestinian neighborhood. Conducted research on future development possibilities and program construction.

Coordinated and produced full process of planning and realization.
Participated in planning, design drawings, detailing, produced construction plans and municipal approvals.
_Team Architect in several winning public and educational building competitions proposals. Developed design and prepared graphic representations.
